Cornerstone holds the top level of Atlas’ contractor program. This page is what that means in Atlas’ own terms, and what it gets your roof.

Atlas Roofing Corporation runs a contractor program called Atlas PRO+, and it has four levels. Contractors move up by installing Atlas roofing systems, so a level is a record of work performed rather than a membership renewed.
Cornerstone holds Diamond, the top of the four. There is no application that grants it and no fee that shortens the climb. The only route is the one Atlas publishes, and it runs through years of installed roofs.

The levels are climbed by installing Atlas systems in volume, so the assembly on your roof is one Cornerstone has laid over and over: ice and water shield, underlayment, drip edge, then the shingle.
Pinnacle Pristine on Atlas’ wide-format HP42 platform, with a limited wind warranty to 130 mph, and StormMaster Shake, rated Class 4 in the UL 2218 impact test, which is what hail country calls for.
The residential lines we install carry Atlas’ Lifetime Limited coverage, and we hand you the documentation with the proposal, so the coverage is on paper rather than in conversation.
Atlas’ standard application is four nails per shingle, and its 130 mph coverage holds at that standard. We fasten with six as our own standard, above what the warranty requires.
What Diamond is, and what it is not.

The levels are advanced on installed volume, on Atlas’ own published terms. Diamond is what years of that record look like.
No fee moves a contractor up a level. The only route to Diamond is the one Atlas publishes, and it runs through installed roofs.

Atlas’ warranties cover the materials. The installation is covered separately, by our own written workmanship warranty on every roof.

Atlas publishes the numbers: the Pinnacle line’s 130 mph limited wind warranty at the standard application, StormMaster Shake’s Class 4 rating in UL 2218, the 42-inch HP42 shingle format. None of it is our marketing, which is exactly what makes it useful to you.
Our proposals name the line, the coverage, and the components that go on with the shingle. Bring a competing bid and compare them spec for spec; a roof quoted as a system reads differently from a roof quoted as a pile of shingles.

Is Atlas Diamond Contractor a certification?
It is the top level of Atlas PRO+, Atlas’ contractor program, above Silver, Gold and Platinum. Atlas advances contractors on installed volume rather than on an application or a fee, so we treat it as a track record rather than a diploma. The wording for every level is Atlas’, which means you can check it rather than take it from us.
Does your Diamond status change my warranty?
The warranty on the materials comes from Atlas either way, and on the residential lines we install that is Lifetime Limited coverage. What changes with the contractor is everything the warranty sits on: the installation itself, which we back with our own written workmanship warranty. Ask at the estimate which Atlas coverage applies to the exact system you are quoted; the answer depends on the components that go on with the shingle, and we will show you the terms in writing before you sign.
How do I verify any of this?
Three ways. Atlas’ contractor directory lists us, our Business Profile carries our reviews in our customers’ words, and your proposal names the shingle line and its coverage so you can check the numbers against Atlas’ own product pages.
Do Atlas shingles help with hail insurance?
The Class 4 lines we install, such as StormMaster Shake, carry the top rating in the UL 2218 impact test, and a Class 4 roof may qualify for a discount on the wind and hail portion of your homeowner’s policy. Whether it does, and by how much, is your insurer’s call, so ask them what they allow. We hand you the product documentation either way.
Why Atlas rather than another manufacturer?
